how to develop a joint team vision
before we can build the innovation we want, we have to imagine it.
every successful project should start with...
creating a common vision for the future product.
this also means: we do not discuss technical feasibility.
we do not discuss details.
we do not discuss anything else.
everyone makes a rough sketch of what they have in mind.
at the very beginning of the project.
we put all these sketches on a board.
quality is not the decisive factor here.
next step is voting.
instead of discussing, everybody explains their idea within 30 seconds.
then we have to vote and proceed with the next version.
does this mean that the process is already complete?
absolutely not.
but as humans we have a much better gift for...
...correcting and improving things than...
creating something from scratch.
that's why we iterate the sketch in small time intervals...
and the joint progress is much more fun for everyone.
since we have been implementing this, everything else has been going much better.
is that all? definitely not. it's only one piece of the puzzle.
