why i don't believe in design thinking anymore
don't get me wrong i really like doing...
design thinking workshops
but we simply don't do it anymore
but lars, it's such a fun method to get creative ideas?!
that is very true indeed.
but...
what good is an creative idea...
or a paper prototype..
if you could have a fully working prototype
in almost the same time?
lars, i don't get it-how should that be possible?!!!
what we have found out...
we don't lack ideas.
people have plenty of them.
they lack execution skills!
bringing products to market...
without endless talking, meeting & theory
seems to be the critical task today
but lars, why does everybody talk about creativity and change then?!!!
because they want to make a business out of it!
people keep selling you concepts
people keep selling you consulting
people keep selling you coaching
but ask yourself: does this really help
getting your ideas executed?
of course, i still have to execute them on my own...?
i would rather suggest: concentrate less on the theory
start building your idea from scratch instead
and then learn from real customer feedback?
exactly!
that's way better than filling the pockets of so called innovation experts
because let me tell you...
all the assumptions upfront don't have any value...
until you hit the real market with real customers.
ok, but how can i get the process running?!!
if you've been dreaming of bringing your product to the market...
in the best earliest fastest way possible...
don't call us!
write a press release from the future*
then ask yourself...
does it give you goosebumps?
if yes. we may talk.
but lars, what happens if not?!!!
try again
until...
you succeed.
