Why i don't believe in KPI's anymore?
A lot of so called "Innovation Experts" Talk about KPI's right?
,,Lars, of course you need kpi's for every product..."
I agree. For products.
I completely disagree. For innovations.
The problem with Kpi's and innovation is...
Customers don't give a shit about your data!
They want their problems to be solved
Not your sales to be driven.
Or some fancy kpi's to be matched.
,, But lars, how do you want to measure if your idea is a success?!"
When it comes to innovation most data can only look back into time
the irony is that we need kpi's for things we can't even imagine...
...so throw away that numbers bullshit please!
And start focusing on real customer insights
do they really buy or pre order your solution?
You will never find a better kpi than this!
Focus on the important topics please
And always remember
If you don't innovate for the people someone else will disrupt your market.
